Venturing in new directions

It has been months… very long months since I last wrote on my blog. I know… I had totally different intentions the beginning of last year.

My life has taken me into a different direction which is both tiring and exhilarating. Tiring because it means a lot more daytime non-creative work. Exhilarating because we finally can breathe easier again having a steady income and some sort of job security.

Claying does not lend itself very well for the spur of the moment free time so my pencils and pens have come out of the drawers. I forgot how much I loved paper, pencils and paint!

I have a few journals to write and may from time to time pop over here to share the results. Or not. For now I am colouring away... it relaxed me after a stressful day on the job.

After nearly 10 years of claying, I have wrapped up my pasta machine, stored my clay and tools for some rainy day in the future. There are simply not enough hours in the day and I have yet to find that portal to a parallel universe.

So, for now, I wish all my dearest claying friends many more years of polymer fun and friendship, and thank you for being such wonderful people!

A warm and heartfelt THANK YOU!
